The heart of Catholic Worship is the celebration of Eucharist (the Mass). Other sacraments are celebrated at St Peter's Waiheke along with Funeral, Memorial and Ecumenical Services.
Marriage
St Peter's is available for the celebration of The Sacrament of Marriage. Either the bride or the groom must be a baptised Catholic. Weddings are conducted by a Catholic Priest. You are welcome to invite a Catholic priest you know to be your celebrant or you could contact the Parish Liason Christine Sloan to put you in touch with a priest celebrant. Couples are expected to take part in the Marriage Preparation Programme, details below.

Eucharist
Mass is celebrated each weekend. Vigil Mass Saturday at 5pm and Sunday 9.15am. Mass is usually celebrated for major feasts of the church. Check timetable on the home page.
Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion is celebrated weekly on Wednesdays at 9.00am. During January, Lent and Advent Mass is celebrated at 9am.
Reconciliation
Rite One Reconciliation is available before weekend masses. If you wish to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation at other times please contact the Parish Liason Christine Sloan / PH: 09 372 3581
Special Rite Two Reconciliation is available during Advent and Lent, and will be posted on the home page.
Anointing of the Sick
A communal rite is celebrated twice during the year. Before Easter and before Christmas. Special anointing for the sick is available on request. Please contact our Parish Liason Christine Sloan / PH: 09 372 3581
If you have a family member of friend in a public hospital be sure to let the Catholic Hospital Chaplain know of the person’s presence in the hospital.
